Equipment for Collection and Transport of Municipal Waste and of Street Sweeping Equipment

Brief description of the Contract:

Lot 1 – Regional waste collection

The supplies comprises more than 15 waste compaction collection vehicles, dump trucks and other mobile equipment, as well more than 1500 waste bins for Vlora and Selenica Municipalities. Included:

• 20 m³ to 6 m³ compaction trucks
• 1,5 m³ bins, metal with plastic lid
• Dump truck
• Backhoe Loader

Lot 2 - Separate waste (Pilot Projects) – Vlora City

In order to promote the waste separation at source and the establishment of recycling policies, the scope of the supplies are extended to depot containers and dedicated collection vehicles, more specifically:

• Depot containers 1.5 m³ for comingled recyclables
• Depot containers 1.5 m³ for paper Cardboard"
• Depot containers 1.5 m³ for glass/pet bottles
• Hoist truck for depot containers equipped with a crane
• 1.1 m³ bins, metal  with plastic lid-green
• 20 m³ compaction trucks                   

Lot 3 - Street sweeping

The range of supplies includes mechanical sweeping (and washing) vehicles to operate in the main roads with high traffic (especially in the centre of Vlora City as well as at paved squares, especially at touristic locations), manual sweeping equipment for urban areas, and heavy-duty litter bins in areas with high pedestrian traffic, i.e. in city centres, in commercial streets as well as in market areas, in public buildings and places and in parks, at attractive tourist locations (beaches, boardwalks and other attractions), as follows:

• Support vehicles to transport the equipment and Municipal staff
• Street sweeping truck 2m3 and truck mounted sweeper 5m3
• 240 l bins on cart with broom and shovel
• Heavy duty litter bins 50 l Double cab transporter (street sweeping)
• Beach cleaning equipment
• Container Washing Truck
• Double cab transporter
