CANCELLATION OF TENDER
Due to a lack of competition, the invitation for expressions of interest is cancelled. A new invitation will be published shortly.
The Project concerns the rehabilitation of the hydropower plants at Aswan High Dam, Aswan I and Aswan II. The main area of the rehabilitation shall be the replacement of power transformers.
- The following services are required from the supplier: Replacement of twelve (12) transformers including OFWF coolers at Aswan High Dam, replacement of five (5) transformers including OFWF coolers at Aswan I hydropower plant. At Aswan II hydropower plant two (2) OFAF cooled transformers shall be replaced by OFWF cooled transformers and the turbine-generator thrust bearing cooling system shall be replaced for all four (4) units.
Furthermore, the supplier shall carry out all necessary measures to deal with environmental, social, health and safety (ESHS) risks in accordance with international and national regulations and KfW requirements.
