Investing for Employment will launch a Call for Proposals with focus on Social Protection

At the end of January 2025, Investing for Employment will launch a Call for Proposals in Ghana, Morocco, Rwanda, and Senegal.
Private companies as well as public and non-profit organisations are invited to submit investment proposals. The Facility supports the projects with grants ranging from 650,000 euros to 10 million euros per project. It is essential that each project contributes to sustainable job creation in the private sector. In addition to the grant, applicants can apply for a contribution to social protection schemes offered by the employer.
Applications for the competition rounds can be submitted from the end of January 2025. The Facility Investing for Employment is an investment mechanism created by KfW Development Bank on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) as an integral part of the Special Initiative “Decent Work for a Just Transition”.
