Germany Rises Up AI Start-Up Rankings
Europe’s largest economy is now the seventh best country in the world for young artificial intelligence firms, according to a study by the platform Start-Up Blink.

Germany rose three places in 2024, compared to the previous year, passing China and France. Seventh place in the table was the best result of any large European Union country. Estonia cam in sixth in the survey.
Germany also placed two cities in the top 25: Berlin in seventeenth and Munich in twenty-second. They climbed seven and four spots respectively. Among European cities only London and Paris ranked higher.
The United States currently dominates the list.
