Project:

The aim of the project is to rehabilitate the existing irrigation networks includes priority DAs in the Southern Ghor, parts of the North Ghor, and parts of the Middle Ghor to raise the efficiency of the project, improve the irrigation delivery services (flow and head) to the farm units, reduce water losses (physical and administrative), and proper use for water to Improve the performance of irrigation network and increasing efficiency of water distribution in the project area.

 

Requested Services: 

Lot (1): Rehabilitation of Irrigation Networks for South Ghor (DAs 40,41, and 42) and parts of North Ghor (T.O.18: covered DA34, DA7(Partly), DA8(Partly))

Rehabilitation of the existing irrigation networks except pumping stations for development areas 40,41,42 in Southern Ghor and for the development areas within Turnout 18 in the North Ghor (which covered development area 34, and parts of development areas 7and 8 in, with a total length of 140 km of DI and HDPE pipes of sizes ranging between 90-800 mm including all valves, fittings, and accessories.

 

Lot (2): Rehabilitation of Irrigation Networks for parts of Middle Ghor

Rehabilitation of the existing irrigation networks except pumping stations for development areas 22 only with a total length of 50 km of DI and HDPE pipes of sizes ranging between 90-1000 mm including all valves, fittings, and accessories

 

Lot (3): Construction of New Storage Reservoir in Northern Ghor

Storage Concrete reservoir near (PS 41) with a total capacity of (30,000) m3 , with all valves, fittings, accessories, mechanical and electrical works, roads and lighting works, including 700mm DI inlet and outlet pipes each about 300m long. The reservoir will be filled by gravity from ZC3 and feed the farm units irrigated by TO 33, TO 36 and TO 41 during day also by gravity.
