As part of the Internationalization of Regions in Structural Transformation (ISW) program, Germany Trade & Invest, in cooperation with Berlin Partner, Investment in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and WTSH (Business Development and Technology Transfer Corporation of Schleswig-Holstein) is hosting an investor event for Korean Companies and Institutions about market opportunities in Northeastern Germany with focus on Battery Technologies.
The northern German region with Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Schleswig-Holstein and Berlin, is well on its way to becoming Europe's leading battery centre. The region has a developed ecosystem of companies directly involved in different parts of the battery production value chain: stationary and mobile storage systems, electrode production, cell production machinery, cell assembly, battery management systems (BMS), testing and validation, power electronics and also recycling of batteries.
The event on Thursday, March 16, 2023, will provide an insight into the booming battery market in Germany and the northern German region in particular. It offers incentives for Korean investors in Berlin, Schleswig-Holstein and Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and shows comprehensive support offers on the way to Germany's battery region.
