Consulting Services, Accompanying Measure - Promotion of the Private Sector through the National Agricultural Development Fund

Brief description of the Contract:

KfW wishes to support the Beninese Partners in their strategy to strengthen access to finance for actors in the agricultural sector in Benin, in addition to the actions being already carried out with the country's largest decentralized financial system, FECECAM. This program being specifically focusing on women and on green investments.

Services requested:

The Consultant recruited in this tender will be responsible for supporting the FDNA in the implementation of an accompanying measure which is divided into four main components:

- Component 1 involves technical assistance to support the FDNA;

- Component 2 involves technical assistance to support approximately 7 partner financial institutions. This component is subdivided into two parts, TA for decentralized financial system institutions (DFS) and TA for banks;

- Component 3 deals with cross-cutting issues that will be addressed through more comprehensive studies, the results of which will benefit the FNDA as well as the financial institutions;

- Component 4 focuses on supporting the final beneficiaries, i.e. the clients of the financial institutions, specifically women and agricultural actors who are considering a "green" investment.
