Consulting Services, Implementation of Simplified Water Supply Systems (State of Ceará)

Requested Services:

• The purpose of this tender is to register the price for future and possible provision of services for the implementation of Simplified Water Supply Systems – SSAA in rural areas located in several municipalities in Ceará with the supply of materials, equipment and services duly specified in Annex I.10 – List of Municipalities Included in the Águas do Sertão Program. 

  Universal access to drinking water in Ceará will positively impact health and quality of life in rural areas, reducing the incidence of diseases. The Program aims to solve serious supply problems identified, such as precarious sources, poor water quality and dependence on water trucks (caminhão-pipa). The construction of simplified systems will minimize the effects of drought and water shortages, preventing future supply problems. The services cover collection, treatment (WTP - Water Treatment Plant and Waste Water Treatment Plant), reservoirs (supported and elevated), pipelines (raw and treated water) and the distribution network, with civil works, supply and assembly of equipment at all stages of the process.
