Consulting Services, Combat Deforestation in the Brazilian State of Pará

Brief description of the Contract:

• The project will contribute to conservation and sustainable use of the Amazon’s natural resources and the effective reduction of deforestation in the State of Pará. Support to the PEA and its organizations will be provided to: needs assessment and specifications, work schedule and financing plan, project management including book-keeping and financial management, supplier lists and tender documents for procurement of equipment, goods and eco-efficient constructions, evaluation and acceptance of civil works, equipments, goods and consulting services; contributions to develop capacity building measures for decentralization and strengthening of regional environmental management, monitoring and surveillance activities and to improve logistic command and control capacities of state entities.
