Consulting, Expansion of Power Supply System

Brief description of the Contract:

This advertisement for prequalification refers to the services to be rendered and financed under the TA. The Consultant shall mainly cooperate with EDC in the successful implementation of the project.

The duties shall comprise but are not limited to assistance in the following areas:

• Conduct all tasks during the “Procurement Phase” under the supervision of EDC until award of an EPC Contract, such as review services, the preparation of tender documents while considering inter alia the ESMF aspects from the environmental and social assessment, conducting the tender process including tender evaluation and assistance for the award of EPC contract(s).
• Conduct all tasks during the “Implementation Phase” related to design audit, site supervision, testing, handing over and related specific tasks, as well as reviewing, updating, monitoring and reporting activities related to the environmental and social (E&S) concerns of the project.
• Conduct all tasks during the “Post-Construction” Phase related to services rendered during the Defects Liability Period (assumed to be 12 months) and related to monitoring and reporting activities to the Project Completion.
• General programme support such as in reporting, reviewing of invoices, accomplishing disbursement processes, etc..
