Brief description of the Contract:

KfW Development Bank intends to finance the Tiandong County Living Environment Integrated Rehabilitation Project (the “Project”). The objectives of the Project are (i) the rehabilitation and extension of the existing urban drainage system and by fully upgrading the Tiandong County WWTP including an integrated water environment monitoring and management platform and (ii) the construction of up to 16 village level wastewater treatment stations and the associated sewage pipeline network

The Consultant’s task is to support the Project Management Office (PMO) of the Employer as well as the Design Institute(s) and the Window Company during Project preparation and implementation. The Consultant’s shall support the PMO:

• During preparation and implementation of the Project, in particular review of the tender documents;
• In procurement matters and the entire tender process;
• review of the detailed engineering design proposed by the EPC contractor;
• In reporting to KfW as well as disbursement management and controlling, and
• in monitoring of compliance with environmental and social health standards (ESHS) in compliance with World Bank Environmental and Social Standards (ESS) and the World Bank Group General and sector-specific Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Guidelines.
