Consulting Services, Water Management (Tungurahua)

Brief description of the Contract:

The main objective of the PACT II program is the improvement of the living conditions of the population of the province of Tungurahua and conserve the hydrological basins, by improving water management and increasing agricultural production, more sustainable production types and increases in family income in agriculture. This objective aims to achieve the technification of irrigation systems, as well as other measures for the protection of water resources in the province. The sustainability of investments is intended to be achieved through the involvement and technical assistance of beneficiary groups and organizations and the establishment of sustainable marketing chains.

Requested Services:

• Provide advisory services and own inputs to the Project Executing Entity (PEE), regarding to operational planning, conceptualization processes, technical, methodological, administrative, financial assistance, monitoring and follow-up of tasks related to the Project; ensuring the application for KfW standards, thereby contributing to the achievement of its objectives and results.
