On 15 May 2024, Investing for Employment launches Calls for Proposals in Ghana, Morocco, Rwanda, and Senegal:
Private companies as well as public and non-profit organisations are invited to submit investment proposals that contribute to sustainable job creation in the private sector. Applications are accepted in four categories. The Facility supports the projects with grants ranging from EUR 650,000 to EUR 5 million per project in Ghana, Rwanda, and Senegal and from EUR 850,000 to EUR 6 million per project in Morocco. All projects must create jobs that give access to social protection systems. Applications can be submitted from 15 May to 1 July 2024. The Facility Investing for Employment is an investment mechanism created by KfW Development Bank on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) as an integral part of the Special Initiative “Decent Work for a Just Transition”.
