Consulting Services, Accompanying Measure and Environmental and Social Management System (Energy Supply)

Project: 

•  The objective of the Consultant’s assignment is to provide support to PEA to ensure an effectual implementation of the project accompanying measures including an ESMS.

  The Project concerns investments in the strengthening of distribution network of Madhya Pradesh (MP) and the installation of smart meter in three DISCOMs. The purpose of the Project is to contribute to a more stable, secure and climate and environmentally friendly energy supply in India by upgrading and strengthening distribution networks in Madhya Pradesh and install smart metering system. This is to contribute to a broadly effective, technically, and economically efficient as well as socially and ecologically sustainable energy supply. Alike the overall development objectives, the attainment of the project objectives will be measured with specific project indicators

   

Requested Services:

• The services are to be provided by an eligible, reputable and experienced consulting company or consortium with proven expertise and experience, and a minimum yearly turnover in excess of 5 million EUR or equivalent. The services include amongst others:

  - Support of MPPMCL/Discoms in strengthening of MP Discoms in Operation and Maintenance

  - Support of MPPMCL/Discoms for the Development and Implementation of a Project specific Environmental and Social Management System (ESMS)

  - Support of MPPMCL/Discoms in Capacity Building, Strategic Planning and Training
