Brief description of the Contract:

The Project concerns Technical Assistance (TA) to the PEA to serve as a catalyst, promoting structural change in Indonesia’s economy and helping to address longer-term challenges of infrastructure finance in order to fulfil the Sustainable Development Goals as well as to develop a Project Development Facility (PDF) plus institutional, communications and visibility support in the sectors of municipal finance and renewable energies.

The following Project components will be financed from the financial contribution:

1. Support to Environmental and Social Safeguards Systems of the PEA
2. Technical Expertise for the PEA
3. Procedural reforms and implementation
4. Project Development Facility

Components 1, 2, and 3 are the subject to this tender. Generally eligible for funding under this project are green projects and those that address climate change in general in the sectors: urban development and energy (in particular municipal infrastructure such as  water supply, waste, water treatment, solid waste management, market development, urban transport, renewable energy (particularly geothermals) and energy efficiency.

Requested Services:

Implementation Consultancy and support services for the preparation and implementation of the Project.

The Consultant is expected to provide managerial, administrative and technical support and advice with full-time representation in Indonesia during the Programme´s implementation period. The estimated overall duration of the project is until end of September 2024.
