Rehabilitation and Upgrading of Wastewater Treatment Plant

Notice is given that the bidding procedure has been cancelled by the Special Tenders Committee for the below mentioned tender (published on 14.03.2018) due to technical and procedural reasons.

Requested works/services:

The Contract will comprise two parts as follows:

Part 1 - Reconstruction and Upgrading of the existing Salt WWTP for capacity 25,000m3/d. The reconstructed WWTP will comprise: Inlet Works; screening, flow measurement, grit & grease removal, primary settlement tanks., bioreactors, final settlement tanks, effluent filtration and disinfection, sludge thickeners, sludge digestors, combined heat and power (CHP) generators including gas cleaning, sludge dewatering, sludge holding and drying area, all ancillary structures and facilities for a complete operational WWTP.

Part 2 - Operations: The Contractor shall be fully responsible for operation of the reconstructed and upgraded WWTP from handover of the Stage 1 Works until 2 years following handover of the Stage 2 Works. The Contract shall include an option for a further 3 years operation subject to availability of funding.
