Brief description of the Contract:
- The works comprise the upgrading of the Kitale – Morpus section of the A1 Road from Kitale to Morpus with approx. 10-km dual section through Kamatira Hills. The total length of the project road is approximately 75km. The site of the works shall be the area within the road reserve and any other places as may be designated in the contract. The project road is located in Trans Nzoia and West Pokot Counties in the Western Kenya and is part of the Isebania-Kisumu-Nadapal Corridor (Road A1). The road section under the contract starts at A1/C48 junction of Kitale (km 0+000) and traverses in a northerly direction through Kamatira Hills and terminates at Muruny River Bridge.
