Technical Implementation Consultant for Health Services Joint Fund

Project Measures: 

• In order to support the Government of the Republic of Malawi to achieve the objectives of its ambitious Health Sector Strategic Planning, the Ministry of Health (MOH, before Ministry of Health and Population) together with a group of development partners have established an innovative funding mechanism, the Health Services Joint Fund (HSJF).
• Since 01.07.2019 the operation of the fund is supported by a technical implementation consultant (TIC). The contract of the current TIC is running out by the end of 2024. This Request for Expression of Interest addresses the procurement for a new TIC expected to be in place by the beginning of 2025.
   

Requested Consultant Services: 

1) Support in the identification and development of suitable projects for funding by the HSJF in accordance with the priorities of the Government of the Republic of Malawi and the participating development partners (HSJF Development Partners: HSJF DPs)
2) Assistance in the tendering processes for the implementation of the projects chosen for the funding by the HSJF, good collaboration with fiscal and procurement oversight agent
3) Technical support to and supervision of the implementation of the respective projects
