CANCELLATION OF TENDER NOTICE


Project measures:

The overall objective of the project is to improve access and retention of girls in primary and secondary school in order to prevent early marriage and pregnancy and to promote the self-determination of young women in Niger.

The direct target group is young girls from particularly vulnerable households in grades 4 to 3. With this age group, the project covers the transition from primary school to the full cycle of secondary school, where dropping out is particularly frequent.

The cooperation project has three main components:

- Component 1: Conditional cash transfers to help parents keep their daughters in school.

- Component 2: School kits and hygiene kits are distributed to girls to reduce the obstacles that prevent them from attending school.

- Component 3: Accompanying measures (awareness-raising, training, etc.) target mothers and girls as well as fathers and boys.

Services requested:

The Consultant recruited in this tender will have the following tasks

- Support to the detailed design of the project and the elaboration of the budget

- Support to the Project Unit in the adaptation of the procedures manual;

- Support in the preparation and launch of tender documents;

- Establishment and implementation of financial co-management and co-signature of the disposition fund

- Assistance in the preparation of progress reports
