Consulting Services, Digital Health and Social Protection

Brief description of the Contract:

• Phase III of the “Support to Social Health Protection Initiative” (the “Project”), KfW aims to support the digitization efforts in the health sectors of KP and GB through targeted investment measures in digital health such as, for instance, digitizing basic registries, essential health related data and processes in order to achieve strategic health goals at levels of administration and health services and, thereby, improving the quality of health service delivery and enhance the level of social health protection of the target population. Under a separate (optional) component under the Project, the German Financial Cooperation through KfW might provide emergency funds in response to the global Corona pandemic to strengthen the level of social protection in KP and GB and to alleviate the social-economic impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic in KP and GB.

Requested Consultant Services:

• The Services solicited are for a high-quality Feasibility Study for both Components which demonstrates a technical and financial possible, economically viable and justifiable, and hence feasible concept for the sustainable implementation of the third phase of the Support to Social Health Protection” Initiative which enables KfW to prepare the investment case based on a thorough description of the proposed project measures to be financed including detailed design, costing and expected impact.
