Project Implementation/Accompanying Measures, Implementation of Substation and Transmission Lines

Requested Services:

For Lot 1, the requested services of the Consultant shall comprise all relevant professional activities for a conventional Project Implementation Consultant (PIC) acting as Engineer in terms of the definition of FIDIC Yellow Book who shall be in charge of the successful project implementation until the end of the Defects Liability Period. The basic concept of the project has been studies under a Project Preparation Study, Updated version September 2022. The study was prepared under the responsibility of GOPA - International Energy Consultants GmbH, Germany with subconsultants. 

• Construction of the new 500/132 kV Chakwal Substation with 2x500 MVA transformers along with allied equipment and accessories; 
• Preparation of a revised ESIA and LARP covering the modified transmission line routes for:
• Construction of 500kV D/C Quad Bundle T/Line for Looping In/Out of the existing 500kV Ghakkar - Rawat Circuit at 500kV Chakwal Substation (approx. 30km)
• Construction of 500kV D/C Quad Bundle T/Line for Looping In/Out of the Existing 500kV Ghazi Barotha – Gatti Circuit at 500kV Chakwal Substation (approx. 3 km

 

For Lot 2, Accompanying Measures, the requested services of the Consultant shall comprise all relevant professional activities for capacity building and training. The accompanying measures shall be implemented concurrently to the services of Lot 1. 

Applicants must be in a position to offer both lots. A deviation from that will yield in a rejection of the application.
