Brief description of the Contract:
The consultancy services shall be performed tentatively for the following tasks:
- Update of pre-feasibility study long list and preparation of three further towns on pre-feasibility study level
- Analysis of potential co-financing with other IFIs in other regions
- Bankable Technical and Institutional Feasibility Study for Water and Sanitation for the three cities and adjacent communities of Termez, Kokand and Margi`lon
- Sub sections/reports for each region (Surkhandarya region/Fergana region)
- Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) including Stakeholder Engagement Plan (SEP) and general Environmental and Social Monitoring and Management Plan (ESMMP), Environmental and Social Commitment Plan (ESCP), as well as further specific management plans e.g., Land Acquisition and Resettlement Action Plan (LARAP) for each region
- Climate risk assessment and mitigation plan for each region
- Stakeholder, PEA and Target Group Analysis including gender issues
- Other reports and outputs as required for an appraisal by KfW
- Feasibility studies according to the national legislation for each town/region
- Other reports and outputs as required by the national authorities to approve projects for financing
A detailed description of the consulting services will be elaborated and will be distributed amongst the short-listed bidders as part of the ToR together with other additional reports and development plans, minutes of meeting on stakeholder workshops, KfW appraisal guidelines, etc.
