- elaboration of a performance initiative programme in the energy sector in the ECOWAS countries via the West African Power Pool; tasks: develop a structure for implementation of the Performance Initiative (PI) under the West African Power Pool (WAPP) and to enhance the WAPP to operate as a platform for support to transmission and distribution system operators; within this context, the PI shall identify and finance investment projects for performance improvements of national utilities, as well as complementary training
