Consulting Services, Energy Efficiency Rehabilitation of Student Dormitory Buildings

Brief description of the contract:

The objective of the project is to increase the structural integrity, energy efficiency, and basic comfort of the dormitory buildings in Student City I, a university campus located in the South East of Tirana. More specifically, the scope of the works includes (1) modification of present floor plans, (2) refurbishment of the power, heating and hot water supply, (3) improving the access to fire escape ways, (4) interior refurbishment, and (5) end-user training and project visibility measures.

The consulting assignment will generally comprise design, procurement and works supervision (implementation consulting) services required for the rehabilitation of Student City I. More specifically, the implementation consulting services will consist of (1) structural and energy audits, (2) identification of rehabilitation measures, (3) preparation of the final design, (4) preparation of tender documents, (5) supervision of construction works, (6) training of end-users, (7) impact verification and monitoring, (8) qualification and employment opportunities, (9) visibility measures, and (10) reporting.
