200 Million Euros for German Technology Center
The strategic management holding company Körber is making a massive investment in its Hamburg location.

The goal of the project is to create a new innovation park in the Bergedorf district of the northern German city. Körber says it wants to link that location with the company’s presence in nearby Schwarzenbek.
The facility will develop high-tech machinery and specialized parts as well as research groundbreaking, innovative technologies.
The construction site encompasses 70,000 square meters. The new facility will be built sustainably and will run exclusively on renewably produced energy.
“The construction of a new location is a clear expression of Körber’s faith in the technology segment and Germany as a business location,” said Körber CEO Stephan Seifert in a statement.
